A co-working reading list

Co-working offers an approach to working that has creativity at its core.

Co-working spaces tend to attract businesses that are by their nature ingenuitive and inquisitive, start-ups and SMEs that are continually on the look out for interesting new ways to achieve their objectives.

Shared office spaces fosters greater levels of communication and discussion, which breeds new ideas and an awareness of trends.

Books are, and always have been, a bountiful source of such ideas.

With this in mind, The Do Book Company has curated The Company Library, a collection of books designed to share with your employees and co-workers that, “encourage us to think differently, adapt to change, lead the charge, work smart and stay motivated”.

Their messages mirror the changing nature of the contemporary workplace and will resonate with anyone who has opted for a co-working community over a conventional office set-up.

Based on the Do Book Company’s recommendations and those of their Instagram followers, the final list is an eclectic mix of well-known titles, such as Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People,  alongside more surprising choices like The Little Prince  by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

You can find the complete list here.

Would any of the books benefit your company?

How many have you read?

Here at Le Bureau we’d be fascinated to hear about books that have influenced your company ethos, or your own professional outlook.

Could a Le Bureau co-working book club be in the offing..?
