Le Bureau has 220 desks rented to over 90 small businesses in the heart of Battersea, yet within very easy reach of the rest of London.
Multiple train lines criss-cross this London village providing great links to Waterloo, to Victoria, to Clapham Junction, and much more. This plus the Overground and the soon to open Northern Line extension make access across London swift and simple. Multiple bus routes pass our front door sweeping Members in from their homes in neighbouring boroughs or bringing their clients to visit, or taking them to meet clients or suppliers in other parts of London.
Transformation of Battersea Power Station, the imminent arrival of the new US and Dutch embassies, and the new Apple UK headquarters is creating a buzz of excitement – and the need for accommodation for the many SME’s supporting this enormous amount of development. Le Bureau is delighted to be host to several of these businesses – and the many more operating within and far beyond this locale.
When we first opened – over a decade ago – we “dipped our toe” in the co-working market with 45 desks. To our delight they went like hot cakes, so we doubled in size. That too went well, so a few years later we doubled again, meaning that now we have space for over 200 people. As we increased the number of desks for rent we also increased the number of meeting rooms, phone booths, Skype pods, printers, visitor parking spaces and more. And once again we are full – and looking for additional space within and beyond Battersea.
Many of our Members live in Battersea – and it’s not hard to see why. With numerous bars and restaurants alongside major attractions including Battersea Park, Battersea Arts Centre, The Pump House Gallery and more, the area has a rich experience to offer.
So Battersea has an awful lot going for it, is within very easy striking distance of most parts of London – and yet is still less expensive that some of our very close neigbouring “villages”. Long may that remain the case!
Whilst many of our desks are rented by Battersea residents, because of combination of easy access and wonderful facilities many of our Members come from the ring of neighbouring villages including but not limited to Chelsea, Pimlico, Vauxhall, Clapham, Balham, Tooting, Earlsfield, Southfields, Wandsworth, Putney, and Fulham.
