Who is Le Bureau designed for?
|
Le Bureau is a shared, semi-open planned office space designed for individuals and small teams. Our friendly atmosphere and flexible terms mean that we attract dynamic young businesses and individuals who prefer not to be based at home or tied in to long contracts in a regular serviced office environment.
Our members span a wide range of business sectors including, PR & marketing, music & film production, recruitment, fundraising, event management and a variety of web-based companies. We also have freelancers, writers and entrepreneurs who use Le Bureau as their office base.

How much is it and how do I pay?
|
There is a monthly all-inclusive fee of £498.33 (£115.00 per week) + VAT. Providing you stick to our generous fair-use policy, the only other charge you will incur is for the cost of telephone calls. We will issue a monthly invoice and we ask you to settle your account each month by direct debit.
While we would recommend you take independent advice, tax and VAT should be reclaimable on office space as a necessary business expense.

Do I have to pay a deposit or sign a long contract?
|
No. Unlike other serviced offices, we do not require any deposit or joining fees. All we ask is that you sign a simple one-page agreement and commit on a month-by-month basis, paying upfront for each month that you’re with us. If you decide to leave, you need to give just one week’s notice.

What’s the atmosphere like?
|
The atmosphere is friendly and professional – there is a reassuring ‘buzz’ and plenty of opportunities to socialise and network.
|
Isn’t the noise from other people distracting?
|
In general, noise levels are fairly low and our members are considerate towards each other, sometimes opting to take long phone calls or meetings outside or into one of the meeting or quiet rooms.
Each desk is surrounded by partitions, providing a good degree of privacy and there are two quiet booths where private phone conversations can take place, away from other people.

How soon can I move in?
|
Immediately! If you’ve viewed the space and like it, you can move in as soon as you like. You can literally turn up with your laptop, connect to the internet and get started. Same with the phone – you can be up and running in a few minutes. The Member Services Manager is also on hand to assist you with any queries as you settle in.

Is it possible to hot-desk or rent a desk on an hourly / daily basis?
|
No, we do not offer hot-desking arrangements. Desks are available to rent on a monthly basis only.

Do you provide on-site business & technical support?
|
No, we do not provide direct support for you and your business. However, our Member Services Manager is on hand during business hours to help you make the most of the facilities we provide.
We will ensure you’re connected to the internet and printers and try to be as helpful as possible. We can also provide a list of recommended technical and business support companies who can be called on.

Can I work during evenings and at weekends?
|
Yes – the office and facilities are fully accessible 24/7.
|
Is the space secure? How can I be sure my valuable items and sensitive materials remain safe?
|
Access to Le Bureau is by via a high tech fingerprint entry system which includes an infrared anti-tailgating device preventing unauthorised entry.
Each desk has a custom-made, lockable pedestal with an integrated locker for storing laptops and other valuables. The office is completely covered by CCTV and Battersea Studios has a 24/7 staffed reception and building security.

What provision is there for storage?
|
In addition to a custom-made desk pedestal, which includes hanging files, we also provide two spacious MUJI storage boxes per desk which can be stowed away under your desk.
We also have separate storage space (approx 1m3) which can be rented for £15 per week.
|
Do you provide parking facilities?
|
There is plenty of parking in the quiet streets right outside Battersea Studios – you just need to apply to Wandsworth council for a business parking permit which costs as little as £8 PW (based on a 12 month permit).

Visitors can park in the car park with prior notice and we occasionally have spaces available to rent – please ask us.

How is post dealt with?
|
Post is sorted by our team and delivered to your desk each morning. We will also take delivery of any special delivery or couriered items and notify you on receipt.
Post is collected by Royal Mail daily at 4.30pm.
