Co-working office members at Bunga Bunga

8 reasons to go to Le Bureau’s August social

On Thursday 10 August, the Le Bureau co-working space will descend on our Battersea neighbours Bunga Bunga for our August social. Expect music, merriment…err, Magda… and much more besides, but if you need persuading, here are eight more reasons to come along.

  1. To support our Italian contingent.

We have several Italian members at Le Bureau, including our brilliant customer services manager, Valeria Polazzi.

Valeria has been a long way from home since joining our co working office in early 2017. Finally, she has the chance to be back in familiar territory at Bunga Bunga; come along and help Valeria celebrate a night that promises all the fun of a Berlusconi party and none of the scandal.

  1. It will bring back fond memories.

Remember the Christmas party? No?

Hardly surprising knowing how much wine was consumed. Many memories are a little hazy of that night, but most of out co working members remember ending the night in Bunga Bunga where they danced the night away and periodically lost each other over the three floors.

Le Bureau Christmas party

It may not quite be Christmas but let’s raise a glass back where it all began.

  1. You can dust off those pipes.

Singing is frowned upon in a professional, shared office so here’s your chance to grab the mic and belt out a favourite tune. Bunga Bunga has karaoke and you should not be afraid to use it.

Whether it’s a rendition of 9-5 or a cover of Stayin’ Alive, let’s spend a night together in sweet harmony.

  1. You can cut loose on the dance floor.

If you’ve ever been on a Le Bureau night out, you’ll know that we like to get down. Cut up a rug. Throw some shapes. Sure, they might be wonky and someone usually gets poked in the eye but we will not be faulted on our enthusiasm.

So put on your dancing shoes, have a drink for Dutch courage and join your fellow co-workers to show Wandsworth how it’s done.

  1. You’re guaranteed a pizza the action. No, not in a saucy way…Sorry, that was cheesy.

Bunga Bunga has a renowned pizza menu that boasts an eponymous tomato sauce, complex combos like lamb and prune and a Bolagnese pizza – just like mama used to make. If Bolagnese on a pizza doesn’t tempt you, I don’t know what will.

  1. There’s free booze!

Rule 1 of party planning: the biggest draw to any social gathering is free alcohol. It’s basic but it’s true. Our generous office managers are providing complimentary drinks on a first come, first serve basis, so all the more reason to go along early.

  1. The party won’t start until you get there.

Officially the event begins at 6pm but we know what it’s like: last-minute deadlines, urgent emails and Facebook all clamour for your attention at the end of the day. This is why we’ve kept the timing flexible, so you can arrive whenever is convenient for you. Although did we mention about the free drinks..?

  1. Bunga Bunga is really nearby!

We weren’t kidding when we said Bunga Bunga is practically our Battersea neighbour.

You can walk there in half an hour but your best bet is to buddy up with a co-worker and hitch a ride in an Uber. Transport sorted! Now all you have to worry about is making it into the office on Friday…
